Description: At the Power-Up Steve Phillips started the R4360 and ran it for over 2.5 minutes. The 28 cylinder engine produces 3,000hp, and may have been one of the eight engines that powered the Spruce Goose. Some speculation that it would flip over can now be put to rest. At those low RPMs without a propeller at full pitch it wasnt likely that the engine would budge on its stand. Since this video was made, weve put on the club prop, put on a better fuel pump and timed one one bank of cylinders.
